Beyond donating or helping with costume distributions and our annual Spookville Haunt, we’re always looking for volunteers to assist with behind-the-scenes roles — including marketing, fundraising, communications, logistics, and event coordination.

Community Engagement Events

Do you love talking to people and spreading a little Halloween cheer? Our Community Creepers haunt local events, fairs, and festivals to share the mission of S.C.A.R.E., hand out flyers, answer questions, and encourage donations and volunteer sign-ups. Perfect for outgoing ghouls who aren’t afraid to work a crowd!

Organize a Costume Drive/Distribution

We collect costumes all year long to keep our haunted wardrobe stocked and ready for the next wave of little monsters, witches, and ghouls. But we can’t do it alone…
Join our coven by organizing a costume drive, or help us unearth new locations where our frightful finds can be shared. The more we gather, the more families we can enchant with the magic of Halloween — one eerie outfit at a time.

Keeper Of The Cause…

Do you have the vision to lead from the shadows and help guide S.C.A.R.E. through the fog? We’re summoning brave, dedicated souls to join our Council of the Macabre (board) — as a Keeper of the Cause, you’ll help ensure our ghoulish goals are met. We need bold minds and passionate hearts who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves (or cloak cuffs) and get to work.

Spookville Haunted House

As a group of home haunters, we want to provide a unique and exciting experience for our guests. We invite you to share your ideas, your skills, and your enthusiasm for terrifying the “brave ones”. We need builders, set prep, and actors. Reach out for more details!

Digital Sorcery: Social Media & Marketing

Do you possess the dark art of crafting irresistible captions and conjuring engagement from the shadows of the internet? S.C.A.R.E. is summoning a Digital Sorcerer to help spread our eerie message across the digital realm. From casting captivating posts to summoning followers, you’ll use your powers to raise awareness, promote events, and charm donors with every click.

As much as we love brewing up Halloween magic, we all know that nothing in this world—or the next—is truly free. Keeping S.C.A.R.E. alive takes more than passion… it takes cold, hard (pumpkin) cash. That’s where our wickedly creative souls come in! We’re seeking spirited fundraisers to help conjure up the support we need to continue haunting happily—costumes, events, and all.
