Our Mission

S.C.A.R.E. is dedicated to making Halloween accessible to every child, no matter their family’s financial situation.

Our mission is to collect new and gently-used Halloween costumes that are then distributed to families in need so that each little ghost and goblin has that perfect costume to enjoy all the magic & mayhem that is Halloween.

Halloween goes far beyond candy and costumes. It’s about unleashing imagination, summoning creativity, and belonging to a world without limits. One enchanted night where age disappears and anyone can become their wildest dream—or darkest nightmare. Help S.C.A.R.E. keep the magic alive for everyone.

Our Partners

Nashua United Way

SCARE would like to express our gratitude to the Greater Nashua United Way for their collaboration and continuous support. They have encouraged us over the past decade and are where we are today because they gave of themselves without hesitation.

Nashua Chamber of Commerce

We are proud to be a member of the Nashua Chamber of Commerce for a second year and look forward to establishing some great partnerships with local businesses as S.C.A.R.E. continues to make a difference.

Alton Business Association

S.C.A.R.E. has recently partnered with the ABA to extend its reach into additional communities, providing assistance to families throughout New Hampshire and beyond.

Our Board of Directors

Jesse Palmer – Head Haunt-Cho & Founder

Jesse founded the charity after realizing there was a unique need in the community and no one was there to help. He loves that it allows him to create characters and share his love for all things SPOOKY! His passion and creativity are a driving force behind all that we try to do here.

Anu Mandava – Treasurer

Anu is currently the CTO & CISO for ZignaAI. He has held various technology roles across multiple companies serving financial and payments domains.

Anu enjoys his downtime spending time with family, binge watching shows, trying various cuisines and traveling. He dabbles in downhill skiing and is taking up motorcycle riding.”

Lisa Cosseboom – Community Liaison Coose”BOO”m

Lisa is a School Psychologist for Ayer Shirley Public Schools. She loves working with children and helping the community in any way possible. She also volunteers at Lowell Humane Society and is a frequent “foster failure.” She has a beloved dog,

Matilda along with a couple of Guinea Pigs.
She got involved with SCARE NH through a fellow volunteer/friend and had so much fun during the haunt that she jumped on the SCARE train!

In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, traveling and does a lot of different types of artwork.

Amanda Soucy – Board Director

A single mom of 4 who has participated in the program understands how much we do for families in the communities. She loves helping other families enjoy all that is Halloween almost as much as she loves Recycled Percussion!
